| Introduction | In the 15 years that I've worked for Training Innovations, we've explored a number of creative ways to meet the career development needs of our clients. I've had the opportunity to design, deploy, and manage a variety of career services for Federal, Provincial, and private agencies. When the technology to provide services to geographically distant clients was neither affordable or applicable, we rolled up our sleeves and built our own e-counselling platform. With a BA in Psychology and MA in Distributed Learning, I led the design of the first fully online AND facilitated career program in Canada. Later, we rolled out future generations of our e-counselling platform and worked with companies in Canada, US, and Australia to deploy services to their clients. With new technology and endless combinations of instructional elements available, it's an exciting time to design career services! |
