| Introduction | Midway through my life and out of the blue, changes in circumstances led me back into the careers market. My love of people, academia, and books drew me to take an MSc in Library and Information Science. Now I am on the staff of an academic library and love working with friendly and lively students, stimulating fellow staff, and amongst beautiful and historic buildings. |
| Interests | Big fan of European and world cinema. Books. Gym. Trying to swim. Walking. Sitting round a table with a good meal, good wine, and good conversation with good friends. |

| Favorite books | Too many to mention, but I'm a big fan of diaries and journals written by 'ordinary' and not so ordinary people. They really catch life as it is lived. |
