Introduction	I am a lifelong classic movie fan. Dance thrills me--whether watching it or doing the steps myself. I am also intrigued by the cultural and historical significance of movies. More specifically, I am fascinated by how films portray societal attitudes (sometimes accurately, sometimes not) as well as how movies shape the way we view ourselves.
