| Introduction | Standard 3rd person bio: Valerie Wetlaufer is a poet, teacher, and birth doula. She holds n MA in Teaching from Bennington College, an MFA in Creative Writing from Florida State University, and a PhD in Literature from the University of Utah. She is the author of the chapbooks Scent of Shatter (Grey Book Press 2010), Bad Wife Spankings (Gertrude Press 2011), and Nostrums (Unthinkable Creatures 2013). Her first full-length collection of poetry, Mysterious Acts by My People is forthcoming in March 2014 from Sibling Rivalry Press. She is a professor of English at Kirkwood Community College. |
