Introduction I've been back into model railways since 1989. Moved to my present home in 1990 where more room allowed for a model railway in a spare Bedroom adjacent to the Double Car Garage with my then 3 year old Son, firstly with DC, then DC with Command Control then to Wireless NCE DCC, in 2003. As a kid I had Marklin but like many model railroaders, trains did not feature in my early working life. I've been an Electrician all my working life with 30 years at Qantas Airways here in Sydney Australia, as an Aircraft Electrician in 2 stints and fixing motor cars for 15 years in between the 2 Qantas stints. With the Garage next door, it did not take long to expand the layout and my Son was always encouraging me to. I retired from Qantas in April 2012, aged 62 and am now really enjoying model railways. I have been consumed by DCC since connecting NCE DCC to my layout with all the options and features that DCC brings to operating, as I build my walk around Double Deck model railway Empire, Now I have taken over the downstairs 5m x 7m Rumpus Room as a Crew Room.
Interests Model Railways mainly NSW, Hobby Electronics and Water Skiing.
