Introduction	I started the blog as an exercise in discipline. I thought if I could write one good paragraph every day, my writing would improve as well as my ability to stick with it. I have not stuck with it daily, and I do not know if my writing has improved, but I have enjoyed my intermittent ramblings. It is reminiscent of the entries from childhood diaries. At first I commit to writing every day. Eventually I lose interest, only to pick it up again some time later. I see now that there is value in the process no matter when or how often it occurs. I write because I want to, and that is enough.
