| Introduction | I am a 50 year old liberal grandmother trapped in the most conservative area of my state. I work two jobs, one as a church secretary (great job for an atheist!) and another as a receptionist for a local real estate firm. I have been married for almost 30 years and am mother to 5 children, one of whom just signed up with the Navy. I have two granddaughters. I frequently write letters to the editor of our local paper and then lose the courage to send them. A friend suggested blogging as a way to work out those frustrations. I take medication for depression and OCD. I can't believe that I'm 50, my brain says 13. |
