| Introduction | I coordinate a family literacy program, which includes adult education, parenting, and parent-child interactive activities, and a K-12 academic tutoring program. I have a degree in English Education with a double minor in Spanish and Teaching English as a Second or Other Language and a focus on Child Development. I have taught pre-school in English speaking and bi-lingual classrooms. I have also taught positive guidance and discipline to teachers and parenting classes in both English and Spanish. I'm blessed with an unbelievable wife and two beautiful daughters. I enjoy oil painting, graphic art (see some of my work at www.4windscreative.com), reading, writing, archery, anything outdoors, gardening, and being silly with my kids. I also enjoy helping people in whatever way I can and supporting effective communication styles. I would rather work or play than eat or sleep and dream of being a grandparent someday so that I can break all the rules that I blog about! TTFN |
