| Introduction | I am currently 23 (but will probably forget to change this by my birthday in November). I attended Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA where I got a B.A. in Literature, graduating Magna Cum Laude. I am currently enrolled in a summer only children's literature Master's degree program at Hollins University outside of Roanoke, VA. I am also taking classes to obtain my teaching license through Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, VA. I'm a bit tired of school. My license will be to teach 6th-12th grade English. I ultimately would like to be a children's author and maybe even stay-at-home mom, but I'm getting ahead of myself. :) |

| Favorite movies | Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail, The Princess Bride, Robin Hood Men in Tights, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, ... etc. |
| Favorite music | Very eclectic... Probably easier to tell you what I don't like: Most Rap, Most Country, Most R&B, Most Screamo (like the music, hate the vocals). I do love heavy metal in which the vocalist can actually SING rather than scream or grunt. |
| Favorite books | The Locker Room Diaries, (the book that inspired this blog), The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass, (a trilogy by Philip Pullman), Tamora Pierce's Tortall Kingdom books (that's not what they're actually called but where they take place. She has too many that take place in Tortall to name)., Pride and Predjudice,... and really too many more to name. Literature major. Enough said. |
