Introduction	Patti Murphy is a (technical) writer who lives in Ottawa, ON with her husband, children and Australian shepherd. And yeah, I've heard that song.
Interests	Just about anything that involves a gerund: running, biking, skiing, reading, dancing, yoga-ing, learning. On a more serious note, I have a number of health issues I'm interested in (due to personal/family experience): heart failure, asthma, allergies, mental health, disabilities (you name it and someone in my family's got it).
Favorite books	When things fall apart (Pema Chodron), Man's search for meaning (Victor Frankel), The power of one (Bryce Courtenay), Not wanted on the voyage and The wars (Timothy Findley) On a lighter note , I'm a mystery nut, so...anything by Elizabeth George, Michael Connelly, Robert Crais, Carole O'Connor. You've gotta check out Old City Hall by Robert Rotenberg. I stayed up way too late reading his book and caught a cold.
