| Introduction | I have a husband and two daughters (one at home and in college, the other a college graduate, married and living in Florida). We have many pets. I *love* my job as a special education teacher and teacher of students with visual impairments, and I put in a lot of hours on work-related activities. Outside of work, I love geocaching (see geocaching.com); I belong to a team with my husband and good friend Fred called The Sevateem. I also love singing early (14th-15th century) vocal music with a small ensemble in a town a couple of hours from here, Schola Cantorum of Syracuse. I'm a bit of a tech nerd, though I haven't studied programming or anything; I probably spend too much time online! But I love using technology as well as other means to help my students. I still manage to get outdoors quite a bit, and we live in a beautiful part of the country (well, okay, winter is kind of miserable)! I've recently changed my eating habits to vegan. Life is good! |
