| Introduction | I'm a newly diagnosed Celiac with inconclusive blood test results and severe reactions to gluten ingestion (especially wheat). In consultation with my doc I've decided to start the gluten free diet now and forego the GI consult and biopsy. We'll revisit this decision in 6 months or a year if the results are not what we hope for. I also have contact allergies to wool, alpaca and mohair, which complicates the crafty portion of this blog. I knit, crochet and occasionally sew, quilt and cross stitch. The yarns (and stories) on this blog will be wheat-free! I'm also a "dog fancier" who has raised and rescued Basset Hounds for many years. |
