| Introduction | I am a Christian woman who would rather write than eat...but you couldn't tell by looking at me. I can sit down to work on my WIP (work in progress) and the next thing I know it's four hours later. Boy! Time flies when your having fun. I have had a desire to write ever since I was twelve years old. I wrote several adventure stories about me and my dog, Heidi. We got into all sorts of trouble...fighting off bears, getting lost in a swamp...etc. As I got older I was told that writing is a gift...you either have it or you don't. I always felt like I wasn't good enough. I realize now that if writing is a deep passion of yours it can be learned. I am a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers. I have been learning the art of writing for a year now and I am amazed at how much I have learned. I hope to have my manuscript finished by August of this year. I couldn't do it without my sweet calico Bianca who sits for hours while I bang on the keyboard. I guess I'll have to dedicate this first book to her. I hope you enjoy reading about my writing journey. |
