| Introduction | Take a moment to laugh and learn with me... 1st I am a mom, wife, and a christian woman. I am a simple person who loves life. I forgive and pray to be forgiven. I hope to make far better choices than mistakes and give God the glory. |
| Interests | I am an artist. I create many drawings for my son's school. I created several drawings for a rain forest: Ape, exotic birds, snakes, elephants, etc... Every Christmas I make hand painted Christmas ornaments. Last summer I painted a wall mural of a beach scene. I am painting the Wizard of Oz portraits. Art is a large part of who I am. Photography is a passion too. I love taking pictures. I find so many stories through a camera and history in the making. I am active cooking for our church's Feed the Homeless. I love baking too. I make a yummy homemade apple pie (homemade crust too), baked apples, icing, and cinnamon rolls! Everything is better from scratch and I love old recipes. |
| Favorite movies | When I was in college I used to get through long nights of working on art projects with movies like: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Little Women, and Singing in the Rain. These days I get through long projects with: Pride and Prejudice, You've Got Mail, While You Were Sleeping, etc... When I am sick I watch series like: Felicity Seasons 1-4, The Office Seasons 1-3, and any Jane Austen movies from the BBC. I am old fashion and a romantic at heart. When I am looking for an action flick: The Jason Bourne series, and Jack Ryan movies like Patriot Games, The Hunt for Red October, etc... As a family we like: The Harry Potter series, The Lord of the Rings series, Indiana Jones series, M.A.S.H., Keeping Up Appearances, Good Neighbors, and we enjoy British comedy. I am an old movie buff! |
| Favorite music | I love a lot of music. I think I love everything except Rapp. I like: The Talking Heads, Harry Connic JR., Lyle Lovett, B.B. King, Huey Lewis, Bing Crosby, Doris Day, The Beatles, Billy Joel, Elton John, Benny Goodman, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Carpenters, The Mamas and The Papas, Sarah McLacachlan, Celtic music, etc... My all time favorites are good ole' 4 part harmony gospel music, James Taylor and Christmas music! |
| Favorite books | Pride and Prejudice is high on my love to read list. I love the old language and beauty it provides. I enjoyed the Lord of The Rings series too. I read a lot of Autism books. The Bible provides constant help, encouragement, and uplifting words. |
