| Introduction | I was born and raised in Mitchell, South Dakota. I went off to university and following 5 years of fun, I moved to the Czech Republic to work with Athletes in Action. After two years, I returned to the US where I worked on a master's degree and coached college basketball. I returned to the Czech Republic in January 2006 because no matter how far I ran, I couldn't escape God's call back to Prague. I have now lived in my current apartment for the longest time (2 1/2 years) than any place since graduating from high school a LONG time ago:) I love that my job every day is to help young women grow in their basketball abilities while sharing with them about my best friend, Jesus. For most, I am the only real Christian they know and that motivates me and keeps me in Czech when I have 3 beautiful nieces and one very cute nephew who are growing up much too quickly while I am away. I am blessed beyond measure and thankful that my job is something I love and am passionate about. |
