| Introduction | The two things that define me most are being a wife and a mother. I married my high school sweetheart and we started our little family together with the addition of our big guy Alex. I never thought about having a child with an impairement but I am embracing every moment and I appreciate my son for who he is. My hubby and I just want the best for him and for all his doors to be open, therefore, we have decided to get him cochlear implants. I want to advocate to all other mothers and families going through similar situations. I am looking forward to blogging about Alex's journey to hearing. Thanks for reading. |
