Introduction	I am the child of a survivor of Majdanek concentration camp. I speak three languages, which may not be remarkable in other parts of the world but in North America seems unique. I've led numerous travel seminars for college students, traveling across several continents and time zones. After years of full-time teaching, I'm now enjoying emerita status with Drake University. My love of sports keeps me connected with ice hockey and soccer, the world's game.
