IntroductionDr. Divya Nedungadi is the youngest Indian to get a PhD in Classical Dance. She is based at Palakkad, Kerala. She is a disciple of Guru Smt. Vinita Nedungadi. Divya had done her MA in Mohiniyattam from Sanskrit University, Kalady and stood TOP in the University. Divya is also a Gold Medalist (First Rank) in BA Sanskrit Sahithya from Calicut University. Divya is one of the youngest artistes in Mohiniyattom to receive "A-GRADE" by The Central Audition Board of Doordarshan, National Television, New Delhi, she is a recipient of Junior Fellowship (2016) & National Level Scholarship (2008) given to Talented Young Artistes by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Divya is also an empanelled Artiste of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) which authorize her to officially represent Mohiniyattam in foreign countries. Presently, Divya is working as Faculty in the Dept. of Mohiniyattam, Sree Sankaracharya Sanskrit University, Kalady, Kerala.
