| Introduction | I am a Brit but have lived in Houston for 27 years and now share my time between London and Houston. I have a B.A. in Physics from Oxford University and an M.Sc. in Operations Research from the London School of Economics, which is part of London University. I have spent most of my career with computer algorithms for various kinds of scheduling, from buses to advertising media. From 1983 until 2006 I ran, with a partner, a software company supplying project management software to major corporations worldwide. I have been interested in climate change for some years. Since I sold the software company I have had more time to devote to climate change issues, and have attended a number of courses and conferences on the subject. |
