| Introduction | I'm brian dotson. I'm married to the wonderful Maria, with four awesome kids (Josh, Chris, Ali, and Andy). I have a BS in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Theology from LIFE BIBLE College. While pastoring I've also been a high school teacher, a probation parole officer, still teach guitar on the side occasionally as well. I may one day go after that elusive Masters degree but i'm too busy with 4 kids, a dog, a cat, a bird, and a leopard gecko. I enjoy playing guitar, am a big RUSH, Switchfoot, U2, Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, MUTEMATH fan, enjoy FORMULA 1 racing (Lewis Hamilton is today's fave - but there'll only be one Ayrton Senna!) enjoy noodling with graphic design, love me some sci-fi, (Gotta couple hours? We can talk some serious Doctor Who!!!) favorite color is orange, CUBAN FOOD ROCKS!!!! Enjoy riding bikes and motorcycles. My favorite authors are C.S Lewis, Tolkien, GK Chesterton (Josh's awesome suggestion). I've been known to read some Dostoevsky (my son's influence there - Chris loves Russian lit!) |
