Introduction	This blog is for me to share my thoughts on a number of film and media related topics, as well as whatever else is currently holding my interest. The "Awkward/Juxtaposition" is my conflicting interest in both the big budget, flashy, corporatized Hollywood world that I've researched and followed with rabid interest since I was a kid and the small budget, innovative, independent world that I've spent most of my time working in. While I think more opportunity lies in the work being done by low budget pioneers, there's still something alluring about the way the cogs turn in the big blockbuster machines.
