| Introduction | Living my single life to the fullest. I am currently a teacher and plan to one day be a published writer. Though I attended six different colleges in northern California over an eleven year period, working and studying theater, psychology and child development, I feel my life experiences have taught me more than my formal education has. Teaching is certainly one of my passions, writing is my other. Just like a musician that must play his music, writing is my music. I have a secure identity but keep evolving and learning all the time. And, I believe, like Socrates said "To know thyself is the beginning of wisdom." Therefore I am always working on self-renewal and learning what motivates me. I feel that life is too short to be too serious. And I believe life is about connecting to people, not stuff, simple pleasures. |
