About me

Occupation Engineering Technologist / Retired
Introduction Freedom 55 came in January 2005 following an extremely rewarding career as a maintenance technologist employed in the power generating industry. Adventure and travel has now become “ma raison d'etre”. In February 2005 I traveled solo to Australia and New Zealand. Over a four months period with a backpack in-tow and a beat-up rental I set out to explore these islands. Upon my return to New Brunswick I loaded-up my Kawasaki ZZR-1200 and traveled throughout New England, Nova Scotia, PEI, Quebec and Ontario. In the spring of 2006 I canceled my apartment lease. I gave away most of my worldly possessions. I stored a few of my favorite toys and purchased a new motorcycle. I then set out in a westerly direction with no fixed agenda and No Fixed Address.
Interests Above all else I love to run, a 3 time marathoner, a tri-athlete, a cyclist, a swimmer, a scuba diver, a downhill skier, a past member of the ski instructor alliance, a windsurfer, a sailor, canoing, kayaking, a motorcycle enthusiast, an adventurist and a traveler.
