Introduction	I am a gay man, creative director/designer, artist, and writer living in New York City and born/raised in Portland, OR. A self-defined ski freak, part-time foodie, old movie fan, and art/design snob, I have been designing for almost 20 years for agencies based in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles working on projects for clients in the tech, retail, banking, and travel industries for clients as diverse as Heineken, Sean John, Cisco Systems, and Colonial Williamsburg as well as small biz and individuals. Previously, I worked in the fine art world for galleries and non-profits in NYC as an administrator, program director, curator, and grass roots exec director. Currently I run Scott Holman\|Creative offering creative/design services including a “green” component to work with environmental, cultural, and social organizations. My blog is an exploration and observation of life, self and experience and a personal desire to share and remember.
