| Introduction | I've been running dogs for over 12 years now. Most days, I'm kept real busy due to juggling the duties of a High School English Teacher, mother of 2 young boys and a mid-distance racer. Needless to say, life is full of craziness and challenges...but that is life. Along with my hectic schedule, I love to read, write, and if the spirit moves me, sketch. Winters, you'll find us out on the trails (yes, my boys run dogs, too) and summers, I'm out enjoying the horses, having fun with the kids & dogs and volunteering for the Yukon Quest (since I race all winter, summer is the time I can "give back" to the Quest). | Favorite movies | Movies that melt my heart, jerk a tear, or really make me think. All of the "Pirates of the Carribean" movies. I love horror, but not slasher types. I love it when I'm surprised at the end. |
| Favorite music | Love all kinds of music. I usually jam to Godsmack, Metallica, but also AC/DC, Journey, & Foreigner. I also love Classic Rock and 80s stuff. |
| Favorite books | Laurell Hamilton books & vampire/werewolf stuff(these are what I call "brain candy"). I also love to read the classics. Jane Austen's "Emma" is one, as well as Shakespeare, T.S. Elliot's "The Wasteland". I love Ray Bradberry's "Fahrenheit 451" and many others. |
