| Introduction | My love of textiles was kindled as far back as the mid 1970's when my dressmaker grandmother and my mum would spend hours on my clothes & ballet costumes (much to my sequinned delight!). This continued well into my late teens. All the while I was lucky enough to have access to a fabulous textile department at my first high school. Textiles took a back seat to a radio career in my 20's, but then my interest was piqued again in my early 30's when I was introduced to patchwork just after the birth of my first son. Now in my 40's and with two boys I relish the chance to share my love of textiles with any and everyone. Welcome to Quilt Central, there's sew much to do. |
