| Introduction | The mass influx of tribal people particularly young women and children in search of job/livelihood from the states of Central India (Jharkhand, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Assam etc) to mega cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore has turned into a grave problem because the mass movement. It has resulted into many deaths, gross exploitation, forced labour and finally into trafficking. Adivasi Vikas Sanstha (Society for Development of Tribals) tries to organize these tribal domestic working women & children especially in Delhi & neighbouring states. We try to bring a new ray of hope for such oppressed indigenous women by registering them in the society and empower them by organizing different programmes on week ends like - motivation classes, seminars, workshops, stitching, embroidery, knitting, cooking and develop human relations in order to enhance their skills. |
