| Introduction | My Dharma name is "Doshin" which means "Way of the Heart." This name was given to me in my Jukai ceremony by my former Zen teacher, Genpo Merzel. During this ceremony I accepted the precepts of Zen Buddhism, one of the first step on the Way. Perhaps I am continuing on the Way towards becoming ... what? I don't know. "When you walk the Way, it is not near, it is not far" as we say in the Identity of Relative and Absolute. The purpose of this blog is to share with you my journey along that way. |
