|Introduction||I’m Jane Bailey, Dean of Post University's School of Education. I've been here since 2009, and played an integral role in creating our Master of Education program, which focuses on the future of education. I also teach some courses in the program and was surprised by how much I and my students enjoy the online format. Higher education has been my passion for the last 25 years. Before joining Post, I was Associate Professor of Education and Chairman of the Education Department at Christopher Newport University. I also supervised district-based master’s degree projects for Virginia Commonwealth University. And at the College of William and Mary, I supervised student teachers. I've taught elementary school in New York, California, and New Hampshire. I earned my Ed.D. in higher education from The College of William and Mary, master's degree in education from San Diego State University, and bachelor's degree in education/literature from State University of New York Oneonta. You can read about more of my background on Post's website. You can read my blog posts here.|
