| Introduction | Angela has represented Amnesty Switzerland at the “Journey of Hope... from Violence to Healing”, in Texas, USA, which is a touring delegation of murder victims' families, former death row inmates, and relatives of death row inmates. The tour raises awareness and informs about the death penalty, through gatherings, conferences, press publicity and the internet, highlighting miscarriages of justice, the inhumane treatment of inmates, and also how the death penalty degrades both its victims and those involved in executing them. |
| Interests | Angela has been a human rights activist since teenage. Having studied Library and Information Science at Amsterdam University, Netherlands, she has also qualified in psychology, personnel management and social volunteer work. Inspired as a child by the appalling treatment of the ‘Native Americans’, she has actively campaigned with them, through various organisations. She also joined Green Peace and Amnesty International in her youth. |
