| Introduction | I am a wife, mother and sailor living aboard a sailboat in the small sailing town of Oriental, NC. Three years ago our family sold everything to embark on a sailing adventure while figuring out our future as the economy collapse had forced us to make life changes.Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 months after climbing aboard, so we took a year and a half off for me to undergo extensive treatment. I have just been declared cancer-free, so it is time once again to find our path. Economically, cruising is not an option for now. My goal is to open a used books and tea shop one day and this blog is my way to satisfy my inner shopkeeper until I can make that happen.
