| Introduction | Literature, film, jewelry creation, exercise, Holocaust studies, thinking about politics (but not actively involved- Use my mouth more than my talents.) Of late I have become more involved with religious issues.Entertaining friends and being entertained. Going to Museums, art galleries, photography and listening to music are all important to me. |
| Interests | I have been creating silver, gold, crystal and bead jewelry for quite some time now. The silver smithing is seductive. I have yet to discover a means to make a living with the designs. I do very well at home events and juried shows but it is not enough. Any rational suggestions will be considered. I do need a web site!Literature, film, jewelry creation, exercise, Holocaust studies, thinking about politics (but not actively involved- Use my mouth more than my talents.) | Favorite movies | I am teaching a survey of film class at a local university. My tastes are very catholic, in the sense that I enjoy films that have great cinematography , superb acting and something to say. I also just like to laugh ie, Love and Death, Across the Universe, Momma , Mia ( sentimental fun...Meryl Strep is the best actress of the century.)Anything by Hitchcock...especially Shadow of a Doubt. Many good directors-Lean, Ford, Chaplin, and many others. |
| Favorite music | Various-eclectic...folk, jazz, klezmer, classical, some popular...nothing, nothing associated with country. I love show music and sing whenever no one can hear me.World music is fun though some eastern European music used to make my dog howl and so I can't listen it with a straight face now. |
| Favorite books | Not a question that I can answer. I have a book club that I started. Books, plays, poetry cannot be defined in terms of best...like a best friend! I love too many to judge. |
