I hope to someday work as a volcanologist ~ I want to help create hazard maps of active/potentially active volcanoes that threaten large populations of people, especially in South America. I'm especially interested in monitoring, volcano seismology and helping develop evacuation plans for at-risk people. Volcanology is important and relevent in a world where more and more people are moving into hazardous regions due to over population. I'm a mother of a 9 year old girl, who is the light of my life. She is the reason I do everything that I do in life! |
