| Introduction | I recently graduated from Gallaudet University. As a deaf transfer student from Alabama, I enrolled in the New Signers Program. Not only did I learn sign, but I learned to believe in myself. Since then, I have graduated with a degree in Education and Recreation and have become an AMGA climbing guide. I have come to realize how truly blessed I am and strive to share the joy and love of breathing life with all those whose paths I cross in the little and big moments of my life journey, whether it be a customer at my job, a fellow climbing partner, or simply a brief moment’s exchange with a stranger in the outdoors or on the street. |
