| Introduction | “Dusty Barnfinds is the offspring of an extremely brief, alcohol fueled, overachieving coupling between a midget carnival barker and the bearded fat lady of a competing circus sideshow in 1901. His first name came from his father's sexual prowess, and ghis mother bestowed him a last name suited to his heritage. With his dad having left town before his trysting partner regained sobriety, Dusty grew up in the roustabout world of the travelling circus. When the circus management found his entrepreneurial discount program of sneaking other kids under the tent flaps for a nickel each was in competition with their own financial interests, Dusty set out on his own at the ripe old age of eleven. From that point, Dusty got real good, real fast, at finding things others had cast aside, and matching them up with people who might be looking for them. His prospecting, bartering and swapping skills are legendary, and today he travels the country finding cool old stuff that you probably should have kept.” |
