| Introduction | When I wrote a guide for new Internet users in 1993, there were three questions I couldn't answer: How to stop spam. How to support any language on the Web. How to get the rest of humanity on the Net. I founded an anti-spam group to deal with the first, worked on Unicode fonts and softwarefor the second, and joined the One Laptop Per Child movement for the third. I am also working on localizing Linux into African and Asian languages as part of the answer to the third question. |
