Her previous experience in housing and community and economic development was earned while working for Downtown Blacksburg, Inc., the Town of Blacksburg’s Housing and Neighborhood Services, the City of Virginia Beach and the Virginia Center for Housing Research. Swetha has a BS in Economics from North Carolina State University and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech.
