| Introduction | It is not often that people can say they are doing something they love, and make a good living at it as well. I am an accomplished esthetician, and educator in the industry here in Calgary, Alberta. My destiny was to be a beauty expert, that was apparent at the age of two, as I discovered red smarties made a great shade of red lipstick. As a teenager, I should have had shares in the local drugstore, as I am sure I supported their profits with my endless lust for make-up, skincare and artificial nail products. I read books about how to be an elegant lady, and put every bit of advice to test. Needless to say, when I announced to my mother that I wanted to be an esthetician she was not surprised. I must let it be known that I do this work because I love it and not because I am not able to do anything else. I look forward to sharing my expertise through writing which is my other passion. |
