| Introduction | I created this blog when I was a child growing up in Sri Lanka amidst the civil war. Looking back at some of those words I want to feel sad for that child. But I all I feel is thankful for the moments that created me as I am today. Once I was scared of how those word would be received. Now I have learnt that fear is a choice you make. So I've decided to revive these words and maybe occasionally add a few words from the adult me. The 1st poem I've published in over 6 years was written on a flight back from NYC where I found so much peace and light for which I am always and utterly grateful. |
