| Introduction | Hello, my name is Thomas Weston Adams III. Feel free to call me Tommy. I've been trained in communication, and I've been communicating from the ground up. I'm preparing to enter my 7th year of teaching at the University/College level. I just wrapped up two summer classes, and I'll be teaching six classes during the fall semester. I study and practice rhetoric because I want to change the world. I’ve made teaching communication a part of my life because I believe that I can help my students engage and shape their worlds. If I have my way, my multifarious curiosities will forever mingle playfully with what I hope to be my unbreakable passions--seeing, making, and doing rhetoric as both an instructor and as a student, both inside and outside the classroom. Through my knowledge of rhetoric, I seek to engage, wrestle with, get smacked around by, and perhaps one day change the world. I have successfully engaged students at the College of Southern Nevada, The Pennsylvania State University, and San Diego State University. I can do, and because I can do, I teach! |
