| Introduction | While I don't make my living as a jewelry designer, I would certainly love to. I have been making jewelry for most of my life, and dabbling in many other creative mediums as well, but my focus became much more fine tuned a few years ago. I most often work with sterling silver and gemstones, but I also love glass, and will sometimes dabble in other metals. My goals are to start making my own lampwork glass beads and to spend more time metalsmithing, making my own findings and designing a bit more. My long-term goal/dream is to have my own little bead shop with a back room for classes/parties/trunk shows, etc. One can always dream, and I would surely be in my happy place if that were ever to materialize. I have two kids, now grown, and so find myself with much more time for ceativity and, therefore, am ramping up my jewelry designing, which is not only a passion, but a Magnificent Obsession! Please stop by my jewelry website at http://www.theresaj.etsy.com and take a peek. |
