| Introduction | I am a Medical Writer and a Lecturer in the Health & Biomedical Sciences. I am also a Medical Herbalist with a keen interest in natural therapies, particularly plant remedies which stems from my own cultural perspective together with a fundamental belief that enabling the body to heal itself lies at the heart of all effective therapies. After qualifying as a medical herbalist I have dedicated my time to clinical practice, health writing and promoting the enormous benefits of herbal medicines, holistic healthcare and other alternative and complementary healing modalities. Centella Skincare was borne out of a desire to use natural plant ingredients to enhance and improve our skin without the need for harsh synthetic ingredients and unnecessary additives. My scientific background and my therapeutic experience as a medical herbalist places me in an ideal position to put my knowledge of the immense potential of botanical ingredients and an understanding of skin physiology into formulating a range of natural skincare products for all skin types.
