| Introduction | In 2001, I no longer "swam upstream", but began my life's work and passion, The Three Graces and www.georgianjewelry.com. An online retail business, its focus is on selling fine antique, vintage and estate jewelry as well as educating those around me. For over 25 years, I have been a collector, buyer and now jewelry historian for all things jewelry related. My field of expertise began with Georgian jewelry, so named for the reign of England’s four King Georges from 1714 to 1830, as well as the Queen Anne period (1702 – 1714). Broadening my scope, my interests and studies also span a number of eras including the Victorian, Art Deco, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts and even Renaissance jewelry. I am a a member of The American Society of Jewelry Historians and a regular lecturer at the annual Antique Period Jewelry and Gemstone Conference held in New York. |
