| Introduction | Caitlin LoTruglio (née Clancy) is a young writer and literary enthusiast whose works include many as-yet-unpublished (and a few published) poems, short stories, riddles, essays, and brilliant ideas not captured in words. She grew up in northern Virginia, where she was privileged to enjoy life with her parents, grandparents, and three brothers until she found a second home in Belmont Abbey College of North Carolina - an unforgettable place where she spent four happy and hectic years in the midst of monks and mayhem with a group of quirkily delightful academics. She now resides happily in the beautiful state of Michigan with her dearest friend and husband, Kevin. She is blessed to be the mother of two beautiful children - one with God and the other with her. When not working on the next literary classic of the twenty-first century, she enjoys reading, teaching, exercising, playing the violin, and engaging in philosophical contemplation. "The Mithe-Hart" is her first novel. |
