| Introduction | I'm a PhD student in English. Besides reading and writing, I love working out, eating desserts, and baking desserts to eat. My goals include eating less sweet stuff, baking for other people instead of myself, and finding time to work out at least 4 times per week. I absolutely love exercise, but sometimes when there's the choice between a cozy couch and an elliptical, I take the easy way out. While eating cookies. My most specific goal is getting really toned abs by next summer. That's far away, so I think I can do it. I want to commit to doing 50 crunches every day, holding a medicine ball, building up to as many as possible. Other than that, I want to achieve better muscle tone overall, so I'll combine weight training and resistance exercise with cardio (since I have heart disease on both sides of my family, and I've always promised myself I'd fight the odds). |
