Introduction	I'm a graduate of the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. I was raised on a steady diet of public policy and political activisim. I pursued public policy as a career and spent five years working in public policy before leaving to join the private sector with one of the nation's largest building demolition firms. I'm now attempting a more entrepreneurial carreer in order to spend more doing good for my family and community. I'm joyfully married to my best friend and together we have adopted our two wonderful daughters ages 10 and 3. I'm a blogger. It's a hobby only. I'm not a finance professional, tax advisor, attorney, major investor, bigwig or even a finance major. I'm sharing my experiences with personal finance in hopes of helping others to solve problems before they make the same mistakes I've made. I'm also spending far more time online than anyone should, so I like to use this as a place to share my favorite personal finance discoveries from the web.
