| Introduction | In addition to a design degree from The University of New Haven, Amy has a B.S. in business from Western Connecticut State University. While working toward her design degree, Amy trained and worked with a local residential designer of more than 25 years. Amy currently enjoys full service kitchens and baths design and sales for Karen Berkemeyer Home (formerly Ceramic Design), Westport, Connecticut. From 2008-10 Amy held the ASID Connecticut Chapter Board of Directors at Large position and currently holds the President Elect position. Currently Amy hold the President position at ASID Connecticut Chapter. She enjoys community volunteer design work with organizations as Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Fairfield, CT, The Center for Women and Families in Bridgeport, CT , Habitat for Humanity, and design for the annual Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival at the Burr Homestead, Fairfield, CT and most recent fundraiser benefiting St. Ann's School - Vines and Vignettes, Black Rock, CT. |
