| Introduction | A desire to volunteer somewhere in the world was inspired by my daughter's experience this summer volunteering at a Liberian refugee camp in Gahna, Africa. She came back with "new eyes". I desire a renewed perspective on my own life. So I have decided to pack things up for a while, volunteer my time, skills and energy in a foreign land and experience the world through a different lens. Specifically, I will be working in East Africa helping people who have experienced genocide find reconciliation, forgiveness and with god's grace a "new heart".
