| Introduction | I've been both a corporate / government accountant and a stay at home homeschooling dad to an ADHD child at different times. I've been in the military as both a commander and 1SG driver with awards. I've schooled for religion, education, and business. I've lived in the Midwest, New England, and Florida. In school I had awards for math, civics, leadership, electronics, history, atheletics, writing, and was on the newspaper and yearbook staffs. I've ALSO experienced financial hardship, divorces, and many other stressors. In short, I've sampled many kinds of lifestyles, locations, and activities; and I have made and learned from a lot of choices. I'm at the point in my life that I no longer feel the need to impress anyone. I am that I am. I've never needed wealth to be happy. I value experiences and memories, and I have a lot of those and will make new ones. In my blogs, I hope to present information that is helpful to others as they navigate their choices, including lessons learned from my own and perspectives I see in the world, today. |
