Introduction	It's been a while in the dreaming stages, but in October 2011 we gave up our jobs, found foster homes for our cat and campervan, and boxed up the rest of our possessions. We decided to take the opportunity of having few commitments (just Hamish the cat!) and just about enough money to travel to some of the many places we've always wanted to. Starting with the Himalayas and with a vague idea of finishing in New Zealand, we set off. As much as visa requirements allow, we like to decide how long to stay and where to go one country at a time, and the 'plan' can always change!
